Education Minister, Pehin Dato Awang Haji Abdul Aziz, yesterday declared open the International Book and Educational Facilities Fair 2002 at the Indoor Stadium in Berakas, RTB reported

The Minister toured the exhibition booths and had a closer look at ICT accessories as well as books on show.

The exhibition was held in conjunction with Teacher's Day which will be celebrated tomorrow.

One of the exhibits that attracted the minister's attention was on the concept of e-learning.

The minister and guests had the opportunity to hear a seminar on e-learning conducted by one of the ICT suppliers participating in the exhibition. Eighty-five booths are offering a wide variety of educational products, ranging from computers and softwares, to stationery and islamic calligraphy items.

The exhibition is certain to be of interest to students, teachers, parents and the public.

The exhibition is participated by among other book sellers and computer vendors.

There are also courses offer to students and the public by some of the participants of the exhibition.
